Faith Formation
Eucharistic Adoration
Each month, the Queen of All Saints community deepens its faith through Eucharistic Adoration. Following our school-wide Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the monstrance, inviting us into a time of sacred prayer. Believing in the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus, we ensure that every class from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 has the opportunity to step away from their studies and spend time in His presence.
Living Rosary
At Queen of All Saints, October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary. Our students participate in a "Living Rosary," where 61 individuals act as the beads of the devotion. From leading the opening prayers to offering reflections on the mysteries, our students take ownership of this sacred tradition. It is a highlight of the school year that brings the entire Religious Education community together through prayer and song.
Stations of the Cross
During the season of Lent, our students gather every Friday to walk the way of the Cross. This somber and reflective prayer service allows our community to meditate on the 14 Stations, led primarily by our 8th Grade class.
As we approach Holy Week, this devotion culminates in the Living Stations of the Cross. In a deeply moving presentation, our 8th graders narrate and perform a "shadow representation" of Christ’s journey to Calvary. Through this blend of narration and silent acting, our oldest students lead the entire school in a final, powerful reflection on the Passion of Our Lord.
Reconciliation
Our journey with the Sacrament of Reconciliation begins in 2nd Grade. Throughout the year, our young students learn about the beauty of forgiveness, the Rite of Confession, and how to examine their consciences to prepare their hearts for Jesus.
Grace doesn't stop after the second grade, however. To foster a lifelong habit of healing and reflection, our older students are given the opportunity to participate in this life-giving sacrament each month during Eucharistic Adoration.
First Holy Communion
Throughout the year, our 3rd-grade students and the children of the Mother of Mercy Parish Religious Education Program embark on a beautiful journey of faith. Together, they prepare their hearts to celebrate the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. Through intentional study and prayer, these young disciples grow closer to Jesus, learning to recognize Him truly present in the Eucharist as they prepare to receive Him for the very first time.
Confirmation
At Queen of All Saints, years of dedicated religious formation culminate in the Sacrament of Confirmation. In 8th Grade, our students prepare their hearts to receive the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. This sacred milestone is celebrated alongside our partner schools, Notre Dame and St. Stanislaus, in a beautiful, unified Mass. Presided over by the Bishop and our local pastors, this liturgy marks a powerful moment of grace as our students are strengthened to live out their faith in the world.
